This site will be utilized to bring information to people on how to setup free Internet TV using an Xbox 360 and/or a PS3 to connect via PlayOn to Hulu. This will allow you to watch all kinds of shows from Fox and NBC. PlayOn also offers other links to sites such as CNN, CBS , Netflix, and Amazon. Get rid of your monthly cable and satellite costs and move on to better Free TV.

How to documentation and videos will be provided.

There will be the ability to post requests and improvements and anything else you or I can come up with.

So lets see if we can make this the best and most useful site out there.

PlayOn is currently using a third party Trial Pay to give you PlayOn for free if you spend $50 with one of several companies.
Its kind of a "No Brainer" if you ask me. For the same price you would have to pay to get PlayOn in the first place you can get a couple pairs of shorts or jeans from Old Navy.. Or buy your Mom flowers. I mean you are going to get PlayOn anyway right.

Updated Documentation was added to the XBox 360 and PS3 sites about using wireless with your video and other solutions such as Ethernet over Power solutions for people who can not use normal wired solutions.

Added a cool popout Hulu Widget on the Hulu page that creates a small windows for watching videos from your Hulu queue and allows you to add videos to your queue for watching at a later time.

Very Cool.

The list of shows available via Hulu and Torrent are being listed on the shows page. Currently the list is being updated to include links to IMDB so you can see what the show is, when it airs, cast and other information.

Updated documentation on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 web sites explaining why you would or would not want to use wireless or wired connections. Also intro-ed information about using Ethernet over Power as an alternative solution.

Updates were made to the page for Netflix setup and configurations. Updated documentation on configuring the Xbox 360 to work with Netflix and configuring the PS3 to work with Netflix.

The whole point of this site will be to provide information on Free Legal TV and to differiciate between legal and illegal ways to get TV for free.

Newly released third party plug-in supports HD Video Game Trailers from GameTrailers.com.

This product will hopefully be just the start for plug-ins for the DNLA product PlayOn.

According to one of my favorite sites.. Engadget.. the Wii could soon see the likes of Netflix. Go Netflix..

According to Engadget we will soon see Logitech bringing us a Bluetooth adaptor for our PS3.

Supposedly it will work with any Harmony Remote and will not require a USB port to be used up on the PS3.

Rumors and posts going around were leading to the conclusion that it was possible Netflix is putting a cap on bandwidth of streaming movies. Now Netflix Chief Product Officer Neil Hunt has come forward to let make an official statement. It's a little vague but basically he says some videos are presented in different quality and that Netflix's goal is to provide the best quality video possible.

Want to stream Netflix.. but not sure which device is right for you.. Netflix site provides a list of deferent devices that support the ability to stream movies instantly to your home television. (Also not on the list is the PS3 which we all know with the addition of PlayOn will get you instant movies as well.)

A reader from Engadget.com has a screenshot of what looks like a survey that indicates that you may soon be able to stream Netflix Directly to the PS3 without the help of products such as PlayOn.

Blockbuster OnDemand coming to TiVo?

Tivo's announces it is going to add support for Blockbuster OnDemand to it's Series3, Tivo HD XL, and TiVo HD boxes in addition to the Series2 boxes that they didn't add support for Netflix. Wow.. TiVo is holding nothing back on this one. Looks like second half of 2009. The Blockbuster service is not the same as the Netflix service offering $4 per movie compared to the Netflix unlimited for $8.99. But either way.. looks like this war is not over.. and we got people selling guns to both sides.

Sony has tipped the media off that there will be a global announcement this week pertaining to the PS3. There has been a decline in sales on the PS3 for the last three months which is why analysts are guessing on a price drop or some sorta online content update. This could be great news for you media buffs out there ready to strap into one of these awesome media hubs slash BlueRay Players. Stay tuned for more news on this slated Tomorrow March 31st.

CNet.com is reporting that Yahoo will soon bring things like FLickr, Finance, News, and Weather directly to your TV via somethihg they cal TV Widgets. This will be something that is now availible on 4 Samsung TV's and will soon be availible on more brand such as Visio, Sony and LG.

ClickZ.com is reporting that next Month YouTube will be redesigning its web site to include more content from Studio Partners to provide more content like Hulu does. The navigation will be switched to "Movies, Music, Shows, and Videos to emulate something more like Hulu. YouTube will be including advertising to monetize the videos and movies.. This should be interesting.. and possibly Swweeeeeet..

Well …. it's happening.. Neflix has sent out an e-mail to it's subscribers noting a increase of 1$ for Blu-Ray unlimited rentals for 2 Blu-Ray's at a time..Had to happen sometime i guess.

Reports are coming in that Disney is going to be on YouTube's new Website. New York Times reports that Disney's TV division will be providing YouTube.com with Short Videos on the newly redesigned website. Thats cool.. Like a tidal wave now everyone is rushing to get content out there. Seems Hulu missed the boat on this one but YouTube.com is the biggest provider of video content on the Web.

Reports are coming out now.. Hulu has started Encrypting content at the source with Javascript decrypting it at the client.

This could be detrimental to those applications such as PlayOn that are using RSS parsing to read content off of the Hulu site. Far as we can tell. Some people are not reporting issues..but there are a few posts on PlayOn site asking what is going on.
